IMPACT AREAS

The Perfect Fit is committed to fostering a culture of kindness and empathy, where bullying has no place. We believe in the power of education, awareness, and community engagement to combat bullying in all its forms. Through our programs, resources, and advocacy efforts, we strive to empower individuals to stand up against bullying, support those who have been affected, and create inclusive environments where everyone feels safe and respected.

In addition, we stand firm in our commitment to ending gun violence and creating safer communities for all. We believe that every individual has the right to live without fear of gun violence, and we work tirelessly to support survivors, advocate for change, and build a future where gun violence is a thing of the past.

Bike Drive

The Bike Drive with J.J Weaver is heartwarming endeavor aimed at brightening the lives of children. Organized by compassionate volunteers and generous donors, this initiative seeks to provide children with the joy and freedom of owning their own bicycles. By collecting donations of gently used bikes and soliciting funds for new ones, the drive ensures that every child, regardless of their family's financial situation, has the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding a bike. Beyond just a mode of transportation, these bikes represent a gateway to exploration, adventure, and childhood fun. Through this collective effort, the bike drive not only brings smiles to the faces of children, but also fosters a sense of inclusivity and support within the community, demonstrating the power of compassion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Peer Support Group:

J.J. first opened up about his father's death in a leadership class, which led him to partner with the Kentucky Center for Grieving Children and Families to establish a peer-led grief counseling program at the University of Kentucky. With the help of Dr. Nicole Breazeale, J.J. received a $50,000 grant from the Women of Philanthropy at UK to expand the program campus-wide. What sets J.J.'s group apart is its focus on young adults, where students not only learn how to cope with grief but also have the opportunity to become peer mentors themselves.
